Workcover Victoria Medical and like excess from 01 July 2021

Dear Clients, Colleagues and Partners,

A quick update for our Victorian clients in relation the Medical and the like excess from 01/07/2021

Please be advised that the Employer and medical like excess from 01 July 2021 has increased to $744 

per claim.

You will note that the previous excess limits for medical and the like expenses was $735.

Any existing claims where the Medical & Like excess is 'part paid' by 1 July, the new excess amount 

of $744 will apply to the claim.

The 10 day weekly benefit excess has not changed and remains the same.
